Tonight I’ll be in London…

… and now it’s all about running around packing and doing some stitches here and there. Of course I’m not finished. I never am; mainly because I’m never satisfied…

But, at three I’ll be at Viktoria’s, meeting up with a news paper that wants to write about us. At four driving down to Copenhagen and catching the evening plane.

I’ve been making cute paper bags from vintage wall papers. And I’m so pleased with them. Also spent hours making cards and tags and… cutting cards and tags.

Going west!

Dancing Nun Hats are going west the 6th of December!

Finally, after weeks of planning and emailing and calling it is all set. My designer colleague and I are going to exhibit in London. Due to some mishaps we were quite late in our requests, but got some good connections with Morley College Gallery. They are holding their yearly Winter Fair at Morley College Sunday the 6th. And we are so glad that we are showing together with other creatives in an inspiring environment.

Dancing Nun Hats and SjöhagaSweden is our joint venture called Ava Nord and our common pieces are inspired by the Scandinavian nature.

So if you’re in London visit the Morley Winter Fair, it’s a great happening for the whole family.

This week there was a reportage on Swedish television (0:58-05.18) about a Swedish hatmaker – TESHATS – that claims the market is getting better. I’m sorry it’s in Swedish, but hat shapes speaks all langauges

It’s time to put hats on people’s heads!

For more than five years Dancing Nun has made hats and corsets. We are constantly looking for interesting materials (mainly vintage) to create wearable art.
